Step-by-Step Application Process
1. Prepare the Design
Pre-cut HTV: Order numbers/designs in your team's preferred size, color, and font.
DIY Cutting: Use a Cricut or Silhouette machine to cut HTV sheets into custom designs.
2. Weed Excess Vinyl
Remove the carrier sheet and use tweezers to carefully peel away excess vinyl around the designs.
3. Position the Designs
Place the designs shiny side up on the clothing.
Use heat-resistant tape to secure them and avoid wrinkles.
4. Preheat the Heat Press
Set the heat press to 320-330°F (140°C).
Preheat the jersey for 2-3 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
5. Press the Designs
Cover the design with a Teflon sheet for protection.
Apply pressure for 10-15 seconds at 3-4kg pressure.
For stretchy fabrics: Use lower temperature (300°F) and pulse-press technique.
6. Cool and Peel
Let the clothing cool for 10-15 seconds.
Peel the carrier sheet slowly at a 180° angle.
If vinyl lifts: Re-press for 5 seconds and let cool completely before trying again.
7. Test Durability
Gently stretch the fabric to ensure the numbers adhere properly.
